Strauss Society Concert: Queen’s College Prep School Postponed concert from 28-Oct 10-Feb-2012 7.30pm Following the success of last year’s recital, we have invited the winners of this year’s Kennedy song contest in Manchester to come to London to sing exclusively for our members and guests. Both singers really impressed us, and with Jonathan Fisher again at the piano, you can be sure of a wonderful Strauss evening. Definitely not to be missed. RNCM Manchester:The Joyce and Michael Kennedy Award for the Singing of Strauss 7-Mar-2012 Senior students from the RNCM School of Vocal Studies compete in the finals of The Joyce and Michael Kennedy Award for the Singing of Strauss Lieder or arias. This year’s adjudicating panel is chaired by celebrated soprano, Lillian Watson.
